Manufacturing & Ethics

All jackets are made in our very own workshop in the leather capital of North America: Leon, Mexico.

We Condemn The Practices That Many Clothing Manufacturers Employ Today

Each and every jacket is made with both the consumer's as well as producer's well-being in mind. Below are a few reasons why we are different from unethical manufacturers such as Temu or Shein:

  • All workers in our factories are over the age of 18.
  • Our leather is sourced exclusively from the local food industry.
  • We also support local tanneries/businesses with our production sourcing when possible.
  • Our workshop is naturally lit, properly illuminated at night, maintained, and safe to work in.
  • Workers work standard hours with holidays and a fair wage.
  • We personally visit our manufacturer regularly to ensure they meet our standards

Choosing The Road Less Traveled

We successfully cut out the middle-men from traditional manufacturing and are therefore able to pass cost-savings directly to you, the consumer.

More About Our Leather And Workshop

Vegetable-Tanned

We exclusively use vegetable-tanned leather in our jackets. This tanning process has a rich history behind it, and is better for the environment (it doesn't leech harsh chemicals into the local water supply). It takes longer and is more expensive to tan the leather this way, but the leather ends up more natural looking, smelling, and with a great patina that we know you'll love.

Full Grain

Full grain leather is a high quality leather that is usually untouched by any finishing process. As a result, full grain leather retains its animal hide imperfections and strength. It is useful for creating jackets, shoes, furniture, or any leather-based item that's built to last. Unlike some mass-produced leather jackets that are usually made of split grain leather, bonded leather, or even faux leather, our full grain leather jackets aren't made from leather byproducts or pulps.

Our Artisans

Our leather is tanned and dyed in barrels by tannery masters with hundreds of years of experience, so you can rest assured that your jacket will breathe well, resist damage, and last for years to come.
