All Saints Leather Jacket Review

Joanna does quite a few things in life, but writing has been her favorite by far. She is a city girl who has moved to a beach town, and second to writing, will never tire of music, travel, and the friendships she makes as a result of both.

AllSaints Review

What is AllSaints?

AllSaints is a British fashion retailer calls its headquarters home in London, England. It was founded in 1994 by Stuart Trevor and Katie Bolongaro. The company was named after Stuart Trevor, whose initials formed ST. His pseudonym was “The Saint,” helping birth the company name. The duo of Trevor and Bolongaro has since gone and created an entire label- the Bolongaro Trevor label.

Originally, the company began as a wholesale menswear brand. It sold only to higher-end retailers, such as Harrods and Nichols. It opened up its first brick and mortar shop in London on November 1, 1997, which is All Saint’s Day. The company sold menswear until 1998, when the first womenswear collection, designed by Bolongaro, was created to expand the company.

AllSaints continued to expand within the United Kingdom. In 2004, it was bought out by fashion financier. A children’s wear line was launched, and in 2006, an e-commerce component website was launched as well.

In 2009, AllSaints made its way to the United States, expanding across the country. It opened stores in many of the major cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Boston, Seattle, Washington D.C., and San Francisco. In 2016, AllSaints expanded around the world, launching stores in countries such as Italy, Chile, Peru, Dubai, Taiwan, Turkey, and Qatar. AllSaints was acquired by Lion Capital in 2011, and today, it sells menswear, womenswear, footwear, and accessories. It has 232 stores around the world in 27 countries.

How do I order an AllSaints leather jacket?

As mentioned above, AllSaints has 232 stores around the world in 27 countries. If you happen to live near or are visiting one of those stores, you can go inside, try on, and purchase a jacket there. Their website, https://www.allsaints.com/, contains a store locator section to see how close you are to an actual store.

For those who are not nearby or just prefer to online shop, you can order an AllSaints leather jacket on their website. Their website allows you to browse, shop, and purchase online. While you can have an AllSaints account on their website to order, you can also check out as a guest. In the United Kingdom, United States, and Germany, you can also use Amazon Pay when purchasing their products. If you place an order as a guest or as an AllSaints account holder, you can track it by using the tracking number they give you in the confirmation email. AllSaints account holders can also track their package through their portal on the page.

You can also place an order by telephone. AllSaints uses a secure telephone system, and can process phone orders in pounds, U.S. dollars, euros, and Canadian dollars. AllSaints currently ships to over 220 destinations globally with their shipping partners DHL and DPD. Orders, once placed, will arrive within 5-7 working or business days, although the site does state that outlying areas may take longer.

If you are outside of the European Union, AllSaints ships on a delivery duty unpaid basis. This means that the seller, AllSaints, is responsible for making a safe delivery of the products that you order to the destination, paying all of the transportation as well as assuming all of the risks during the transportation.

If you want to change or cancel your order, you can do so by contacting their Customer Experience if the dispatch email has not been sent to you. If the order has been dispatched, you as the customer must refuse the order at the point of delivery or send it back using a return slip.

We believe Independence Brothers to be the best choice on the market today. We've evaluated that the high quality of materials, superb customer service, innovative custom fit, and customization options are unmatched, especially when you take into consideration the very affordable price they offer.

If you're a savvy customer who cares about more than just a popular brand name, you can't go wrong by trusting this up and coming startup that is revolutionizing the leather jacket scene.

You can check out their jacket lineup here.

What if there is an issue with my product?

The AllSaints page has a dedicated “Returns and Exchanges” section on their page. In order to receive a full refund, it must be returned in its original condition to their distribution center within 14 days of receiving the package. Thankfully, this applies to both full price and sale purchases, so buyer need not worried about an “All sales final” situation.

If you are in the United Kingdom, your order will include a free returns label, unless there is a fragrance product in the package. Returns get processed generally within 28 hours.

If you are exchanging your purchase for the same product but a different color or size, you must do it within 28 days of purchase. You are also able to exchange for a gift card. If the item is received outside of the 28-day period, it will get returned.

When returning an item, you will get refunded in the same form of the original payment, which will occur within 5-10 business days.

AllSaints warns buyers that they monitor the number of returns made by customers and that an excessive amount or continuous returns can get flagged. If this happens, a return can get refused at the discretion of the AllSaints team. They can also close your account as well for this reason.

You can also make an exchange in store, even if it is an online order. Simply go to an AllSaints store that has the same currency within 28 days.

Having an AllSaints leather jacket

Getting an AllSaints jacket is an investment that usually ranges in the 300-400-pound range for the men’s jackets. Hopefully with this leather jacket review we'll help you make up your mind!

For women, leather jackets are about 100 pounds less on average, although some still get close to 400 pounds in price. Customers mention that there are sales and promotions occasionally throughout the year, so if you want to have an AllSaints jacket but are on a smaller budget than that, waiting to see if the style you love goes on sale could be an option. They have men’s and women’s AllSaints leather jackets in a variety of styles, from a classic leather jacket to more interesting styles, and here we will delve into a few of them.

Pros and Cons of an AllSaints Jacket

While preparing this AllSaints leather jacket review we found that the big con that appears is the price tag. While AllSaints are not the most expensive of quality leather jackets out there - readers here know that we have seen some leather jacket products above $600 - it is still a pretty price tag to pay. As we mentioned before, AllSaints does do sales and occasional promotions, so being patient and having good timing could come in handy in beating down the price tag.

However, based on reviews that are written right after purchase to even a year or so after, it seems the product is worth the price tag. These jackets seem to last a decent amount of time, making the investment worth it.

AllSaints does not have customizable jackets, such as companies like Independence Brothers. If you are looking for a jacket that you helped create more, AllSaints would not be the place for you. However, in general, it seems like a good choice for leather jacket wearers.

Choosing an AllSaints Jacket

If you have been to our blog before or read other leather jacket review articles, you know we say that choosing a leather jacket boils down to a few key things from you, the customer: style, needs, and price tag. While it may sound like three points that have been heard before, it is important to consider and reiterate before purchasing your AllSaints leather jacket:

First, your needs. Will you be wearing this leather jacket in the warmer or cooler weather? If you are wearing it in the cooler weather months, features such as an extra zip lining or a lining made of heavier material will be helpful in keeping you cozy and warm. If you choose to wear the leather jacket in warmer weather months, you can pick a lighter style, or even a leather jacket that has a removable lining, one that you can wear through multiple seasons.

Are you a person that travels with a purse or a bag? Or do you travel light? A question like this can help you decide how many pockets you may need, depending on whether you need to store a wallet or just keys. Do you need many pockets or is the standard two enough?

The next thing to consider is your sense of style. What jacket speaks to you, that you can see yourself wearing? The leather jackets vary in color and style, and they have different cuts to fit your body in different ways. Think about what jackets appeal to you, since jackets are worn so often.

The final, big element to consider is your budget. Are you able to spend money on the higher priced jackets, or do you need to stay in the lower range? While AllSaints leather jackets are more affordable than other leather jacket companies and brands, it is still a financial invest for you to be making. Will waiting for a sale be the tipping point that allows you to buy it? Is the price tag narrowing you down only to styles that you do not like, or is the world your oyster? Figuring out your budget can help you possibly narrow down your selection choices as well.

Pros & Cons of an AllSaints jacket

Conclusion

We feel strongly about leather jackets here and about what they can do for you as a person. We hope this AllSaints leather jacket review helped give an overview of AllSaints and their leather jackets as a whole, but at the end of the day, you are the person purchasing this extension of yourself. Do research and read reviews. Compare styles and cuts and comfort. Find what works best for you, what you can see yourself wearing many days throughout the year. Whether you purchase an AllSaints leather jacket or an Independence Brothers quality leather jacket, you need to make sure it is the best version of yourself in that jacket.
